Remembering Ollie ...

...What others had to say about Ollie

I first met Ollie when she interviewed me to be a volunteer at Eden I&R. On my first day, I'll always remember her famous words to me, "I don't babysit so if you run out of work to do, don't come asking me for work, find work."   So when I ran out of work to do, I went to everyone else but her because I did not want make her mad.  Of course from time to time, I would bring that up and we would have a good laugh about it.  Ollie, Jeanette and I had great laughs together; especially Ollie!  She filled the housing department with her laughter.  I really miss her!

My real "Housewife of Atlanta" fan mate!

Ollie had firsthand.  Knowing Ollie, she will probably take up all the social issues she cared deeply about with the man upstairs and demand action - Ollie, you will be missed.  Love you.

Message from Darice Bridges:

Early mornings

She was my early morning check-in when I would get in the office in the mornings. She also would snatch me up from whatever I was doing (mind you she wouldn't ask me if I was busy) whenever the Wobble came on the radio. One of her classic "Ollie things" would be to yell through the office while pointing her finger and say, "Making copies NO TOUCHING OR PRINTING!!!" I miss her sooo much!!! She was a good friend as well as a colleague...

Message from Judy Harven:

Ollie
Ollie, you were my mentor, someone I admired, respected and truly loved. I will miss you dearly, but always have loving thoughts of times we shared. Thank you for being my friend.

Message from Denise Harris:

Ollie, my friend
I will never forget you Ollie... your smile, your infectious laughter, your encouraging words, your spirit. We miss you, but I know that Your Spirit lives on. You're an Angel now, released from pain and now looking over your loved ones. You are loved my friend,
